COMMENTS:

This two-page scene that ends the first act of this episode is the first time we've ever seen one of Brandy's dreams (or daydreams) in the series up to date.  Up until now it's always been Larry.  Now it's Brandy's turn.  Given everything that's happened to her recently and what's been on her mind lately, it should come as no surprise that she has this dream.  Well, a shocker, yes (?!?!!) but no surprise.  According to some experts dreams are the unconscious mind's way of sorting out recent events and finding ways to cope with them that the conscious mind can then pick up and take from there once the dreamer wakens.  It's also fairly well established that we don't remember our dreams unless we wake up during them, especially unpleasant ones like what Brandy just had.  As for any other significance or interpretation, well, I'll leave it up to you readers to come up with on your own.

The nightmare version of Brandy's ex-boyfriend Ellis Langford is again played by Ellis from Valve's Left 4 Dead series.  Brandy's "special" maid outfit that Ellis makes her wear in her nightmare was borrowed from one of the many Dead or Alive 5 skimpy outfit packs created by XPS-Fanatic.  As before and as always I used my port of GMOD's "zs_stormier" for the old house in which Ellis lives.

I had to obscure the name on the label on the beer can on this page, the previous page, and the intermission page because I didn't want a certain brewing company to sue me for implying that their beer causes nightmares.  Yes, it's silly, but you know how it is these days.
