Yes, Miss Rebecca Chambers of Resident Evil fame can now cosplay as a Star Trek TOS Starfleet nurse.

I'm still tweaking this one, as it's only the third RE franchise female character for STNV use that I've done right, after Rand and Kelly of course. That is, I cut a proper joint between new head and new body and then welded all the verts that needed connecting, then reworked the skin texture maps to better match their tones and to minimize any seam showing. What a bitch to have to do do, but the end result is always worth it. Sticking a head on a new body for XPS is fairly easy and the simple way to do it has been around for years. This is the hard way, but it's also the better way once you learn it and as I know a lot of you already have, judging from your own efforts. As for the n00bs in the audience, take note. Anybody can attach a new head to a new body, and even hide the joint with something like a choker or collar or scarf or whatever, and yes doing it the hard way sucks, but as you can see it's a skill definitely worth learning.

BTW I also had to really work at reproportioning the STFC TOS Uhura body to better match Rebecca's smaller size and more petite dimensions. I'm close because I used her RE models as guides. Not perfect, given that the STFC TOS Uhura body doesn't have some of the extra bones I need for more accurate tweaking, but close enough given what I've got. I could do that the hard way too but in this case it's not so much of a big deal. Her dimensions are close enough without going overboard Goldilocks style, you know?

Oh, one more thing. The image on the left is there to show you my two-part collar mod for the TOS Starfleet female body. That's so I can do quickie Starfleet dress uniforms for the ladies, per what Lt. Areel Shaw wore in TOS "Court-Martial." Technically I should lengthen the skirt by a few inches too as hers was longer, but that's something else I can let slide for now. Besides, I know most of you males in the audience prefer the miniskirt look anyway. XD

That's all I'm going to do for tonight. Time for some shut-eye, and then pick back up with what's left to do with this young lady in the morning.
