Slave One is probably the most famous (and maybe the most notorious) starship owned by a bounty hunter in the Star Wars universe. It's certainly one of the weirdest looking, especially in terms of how it flies and how it takes off and lands. That said it has a very nasty reputation, which comes from both of its owners and how it's most frequently used.
All of us from the original Star Wars generation of fans first saw Slave One in The Empire Strikes Back as the ship of famed galactic bounty hunter Boba Fett, and we subsequently learned both in the Prequel Trilogy and in the Clone Wars series and in such later media efforts as The Mandalorian that it originally belonged to Boba's father Jango Fett, who was just as notorious a bounty hunter in his day as his son later became. It was originally an Old Republic era Firespray 31 type patrol ship heavily modified first by the father and then later the son to both keep its technology current and to better serve their needs, serving primarily as a heavily armed and shielded fast transport for carrying immobilized prisoners on whom they were collecting the bounties to those who had offered them.
Slave One has quite a history of its own within both the Star Wars regular franchise and Extended Universe that I'll let you look up for yourself. Needless to say its uniqueness, due in part to both of its very unique owners over the long march of time in the Star Wars universe, make it one of the more prominent "independent" spacecraft in all forms of the Star Wars universe.
May the Force be with you.
