I like the composition, I think I like the other one better though because you use more of a splatter and softer colour mixing effect. When the paint is splattered on like in the other one it gives it more of an organic feel, rather than this one with it's hard dark lines (particularly in the top right corner) I feel like the hard edges give it more of an aggressive mood, which can be very effective in some cases, but for a painting like this, with this subject matter I feel like a more organic, softer flowing approach is best.

and again, I agree with you...The guitar painting you see here is a experimental mix of two styles. But I see what you mean with the hard lines and edges.. I will try to paint another one with a more softer flowing approach....I really love to paint guitars and experimenting with it!
