I've been mulling over the idea of making Modest Medusa fan art, and I ended up going with this. Putting Modest in a sort of D&D-esque scenario, fighting (mostly yelling) a marilith and her dretch servant. Of course, the two tanar'ri are mostly confused as to what they're looking at.

Not familiar with the two demons on the right? Well, mariliths are six-armed snake demons inspired by hindu myth that are part of the demonic race of tanar-ri from Dungeons & Dragons. The dretch is in the tanari-ri family too, but unlike the marilith, the dretch is mostly a minion/cannon-fodder type that is typically bossed around by other demons. Oh, and assumed I'm going with the Greek style lamia in the dialogue reference. D&D lamias are... Odd, so I'm ignoring those.

Now... I wonder what equipment she's wearing? Hm... Chainshirt, +1 Cold Iron Shortsword of Demon bane, +2 Shield of Useful Items (probably produces chocodiles 3/day or something) and a couple of magic rings. Yeah. Still, you should probably run away, Modest. I think the marilith is a little out of your CR range. D:
