I proudly present to you some of my most recent combat photography efforts from OPERATION REINDEER GAMES in Maypearl, Texas. These are military simulation games that are played with Airsoft guns. Most of the guns out there fire between 400 and 500 FPS with 6mm BBs. This was a battle that went from 7am to 10pm. Over 100 people fought it out on the hayfields and the surrounding brushy areas. Crazy you say? Well you have to be really into this to like it. Its kind of like paintball, but with realistic guns. Live round cuncussion grenades and a MIG 29 fly-by added to the ralism. Smoke grenades, flash bangs and even a full functioning 8 barrel minigun made it out there. It was something else. This collection of pictures captures some of the fun we had out there on that day. The average gun costs $400, so its not a cheap sport, but it is a blast
