Description
Slept through the night did I?and awoke under guidance of Morningstar
\"Does thou love me\" asked he in dream
and with I fell upon his arms,
into which sleep would soon trail silence
beneath the light of the third moon,
to which today I cry,
beneath the glow of the second,
In which tonight I do bask,
and then the first,
which commands the nights air
did I sleep under
A simple serenity there is
to rest a peaceful rest
in the arms of those where sin has no bounds
Only greeted with love and adoration
O\' my worry and woe, do you flutter away?
do you dissipate through the winds?
and comfort me in this my meditation?
\"Yes\" does thou answer
\"for tonight thine rest lays with Morningstar,
and truly does he love you, oh mine sinful creature\"
\"From this,\" I did reply, \"Will I stray from the waking light,
for in mine comatose end have I finally discovered
Heaven...\"
