Alone again
meant to bleed me to myself
she's in the back room
locked in her own closet of shame
as every candle whose flame once burnt so
this one melted down
such a tragic shame
looking at reflections of me again
meant to see this ugliness another day
she's in the back room screaming
opened her door to see the world
still hiding her face from the light
still adjusting her eyes from the dark
looking out this window of my life
feeling all this hate I have inside
burning all the memories away
crying all the tears into the wind
as I slowly ate the pain i had in me
this separation seemed to set me free
our lonely eyes met in dark
this burning candle shown and lit the way
followed it to the end of time
dripping wax burnt me to the ground
still managed to hold one to two
still managed to love the black in you
and as my heart slowly slipped
walls formed and crushed me in
loving your pain to the end
carrying your shame in the end
she's out the back room
holding a key left on the floor
handle covered in wax
my image held against a mirror
locked in a maze and can't get out
