And here I was
Believing a rebirth of innocence was at hand
All my corruptness washed away in the sea of time
My hands cleaned of the blood of my enemies
Yet I was wrong
And here I was
Thinking all my wrongs were behind me
The shadows that followed me taken by the night
My soul hidden in darkness from pretenders' eyes
Yet I am not done
Here in this mirrored chamber
I am the center
Hammer in hand, to break the pieces down
Forever lost in this soulless maze
And here I am
Screaming to be broken free
The watchers listening through a one-way mirror
My calls raging past; unheard in this dull wind
Now distressed
And here I am
Crashing my hand upon my reflections
Tearing them down unto the floor
standing upon my shattered crystal
Now pained
Mirrors broken on the floor
I am the center
Feeding glass into my feet; drowning in a sea of blood
Forever frozen in this Crystal Lake
