Description Woke up this evening
encased in bitter cold
loneliness beside me
an empty space and nothing more

Outside white death falls to the floor
surrounding me in forgotten guilt
hushed voices breaking against the window pane
old tales and nothing more

Woke up this night
to find the snake beside
apple laying upon its spine
awaiting delicate flesh
to consume the burden of existence

With sweet sips of sin
I fell into my Eveline
thick cider flowing through my veins
hot love in my head, rough against cold skin

Woke up this morning
encased in steaming desire
Soft Eveline beside me
vain flesh and nothing more

Well, I suppose I'll just put it back up I love the imagery in this poem, especially the Biblical stuff that begins stanza three. Overall a very enjoyable read!
