Description
And it shonein its full splendor
the sun burning fire
and showering love upon his face;
and he loved it
the pureness of the light
the way the rays seemed to love the earth
to hug it so and embrace it in all its warmth
and it fell, with such force to the ground
that tear
all the love he felt
encased in a drop, and it was beautiful
yet slowly the night forced itself upon him
the warmth that followed the sun, now a cold
and it played its masquerade
the moon, stealing all the light of the sun
the thief, giving so little
reflecting its charade unto him
knowing he knew
and laughing at his inability to help
whatever imperfections the sun may have loved
the moon now hid in its darkness
and another fell, with such hurt to the ground
that tear
all the pain he felt
encased in a drop, and it was so hurtful
and as he wept
in darkness's depths
he waited for the shallowness of the sun
to embrace him once again
