Taken outside of the Children's Museum in Everett, WA.I was thinking of actually throwing this into scraps as I'm not entirely happy with it but the feeling I wanted is there.
The noise is intentional (as you can see from the ISO).
In actuality, the child is covering his eyes and counting in a game of hide and seek, there's another statue to the right where you see his dad and sister peeking around the corner but when night falls and the light turns on above the boy, the feeling completely changes. Almost into a feeling of despair or sadness.

Interesting capture and description. A lost child in the dark it could be, but you've given us the meaning of what is "should" be.
I feel as though the interpretation has been left up to me, not a bad feeling.
