Description
This is a photograph of a sketch that my cousin Mike did of me that I put through several filters on fotor.com. The first filter was a black and white one to remove any extraneous and distracting hues from the photograph. The second is called Ukiyoe, after the Edo period Japanese art style, which provides an aesthetic specifically reminiscent of the very famous work, "The Great Wave off Kanagawa." I like the way the wave pattern plays on my shirt and in the background, and especially how the effect on my face makes my nose and mouth seem melty and Davy Jones-ish.
