Description
This is a picture I made of Maligore, an evil Volcanic Lava Deity from Turbo: A Power Rangers movie. Maligore was the objective of the evil Space Pirate Devitox, who wanted to unleash Maligore from the Dimension he was trapped in and make him her husband in an alliance of evil. The Power Rangers however, intervened to stop her, gaining new Turbo Powers and Turbo Zords to take on Maligore and Devitox.
While I know many did not like the movie, and I have yet to see the actual Power Rangers: Turbo show, which many to consider a very weak entry in the early Power Rangers seasons, I for one found the movie an interesting story. Maligore himself was quite the evil looking beast, and was quite impressive, despite all the hype he got in the movie and then going down easily against the Turbo Megazord when they do fight. Though to be fair, he might have only died because he was knocked into the Sea, probably not the best thing for a Lava Monster.
I am also planning on Using Maligore in my Power Rangers Neo Fan fiction, appearing as the final foe for the original team of Rangers to fight. He won't be fought with the Turbo Zords, and there will be no Devitox or Space Pirates, as those are not elements I found interesting for this story. He won't show up in the story anytime soon however, as it is the 5th arc and I've only just begun the first.
This is also part of 's under-appreciated movie Art Jam, as indeed Turbo: A Power Rangers movie can be considered a movie that is disliked by many, but I think it is a fun adventure, worthy if only for something like Maligore and other fun elements.
