History:
The first 50 years of Kiosho’s life, he lived in bamboo mountains, just roaming around with his forest spirit friends and his siblings. His life was peaceful, and he enjoyed it very much. As a young spirit, he would often transform to a human and spy on the villagers around his mountain at night. He fell in love with the people’s way of life and the interactions between the villagers. He yearned for a relationship, a community like that of human’s. One night, he stumbled upon a girl who was lost in the forest. The girl was crying, and Kiosho doesn’t know how he could help her without revealing himself to her. Therefore, he used his ghost fire to light the way for the girl. The girl got home safely, and the next day, her parents gave thank offerings to the mountain. Kiosho was very proud of himself, and he decided that helping out the people in the villages would be his life-time work.

However, years passed, and the village slowly started to grow. Humans began to cut down trees and many of Kiosho’s forest friend either left or died because of the increased pollution. In the end, Kiosho was alone in the forest. He remained there because he sincerely thought that he could still help humans who may wonder into the forest and get lost. But Kiosho himself is growing, and he realized that he was slowly losing control over his fire power. During a moonless night, he accidently burnt the forest as he lighted a way for a boy who was wondering in the forest. The forest burned and burned, and the young boy almost died because of the forest fire. Kiosho blamed himself and decided to find someone to help seal his fire power off. It was around that time that he heard about the powerful Witch who owns the bath house. Curious, Kiosho left his mountain for the first time and went to seek out the Witch and this “other world”.

The bathhouse was a community of spirits and gods that he had been looking for. Therefore, he decided to work there. The Witch sealed him, and he turned back to his younger self; he made friends. He realized that he could still use his fire to make people or spirits smile by making fireworks, and he was again, content.

~The marks below his eyes are his seal that help him control his fire power. Because he is too weak to properly control his fire, many times, burning off his own clothes and things around him. So he asked the Witch to put a seal on him which put him back to his kid state where his fire powers are less powerful and more controllable.
~He can freely unseal himself, but he will need the Witch’s power to seal it again. So unless it’s absolutely necessary, he will not unseal himself.
