*sniffle* My sister and I idol-worshipped Belle from a very young age. For one, she has brown hair like us, and we didn't see that much back then. Another thing was that she was strong and resourceful and she saved the Beast's ass.
Mostly, though, it was the idea of a pretty lady who'd read a whole library, and kept reading, and reading out loud to the sheep... The both of us still love her for that. Such a wonderful girl.
