This is probably the first commissioned piece I've ever done. I've avoided posting it for so long because I wanted to keep it a surprise until Christmas. It's not exactly a still-life, I used a small shell I'd found as a reference but the scene I had to make up myself. I'm particularly proud of how the waves came out, considering that I'm usually told that I don't "loosen up" or "let go" enough in painting, or that life drawing class for that matter.
