The color work here is utterly fantasy and I love the way the background seems to be filled with the singular bookshelves going back into forever. However this Library was laid out people probably got lost in it, even when they knew where it was. The tangling vegetation is wonderful in all of it's tendrily glory. It must have taken you ages to do all of the books and then add the moss and thinner roots on top of them.

We did lose them. Along with all the history and dreams kept within them. It's very sad. Beautiful picture though, solemn, pretty, and a little lonely. Very well done.
