Description
Here is a proposal of the technology tree for the Star Wars starfighters in the Disney Canon. I only consider starfighters which family extend through the three eras (Galactic Republic, Empire, New Republic). Transports are excluded (for example the TIE shuttle, the TIE boarding craft, or the U-wing etc.) as well as airspeeders (for example the TIE striker). I have regrouped the starfighters in five families associated with a specific manufacturer (or group of manufacturers). Of course, there is no official tree in the canon, so the links between the starfighters are mainly conjectural although it is possible to find some official justifications for most of them. The classification between fighter, bomber, interceptor and fighter-bomber is also conjectural, at least for some starfighters.
