Description
As part of the federal grant secured by the Community of Hasvik in November of 2002, Engine 2 was ordered in August of 2003 to replace an aging 1990 Ford CF8000. The specifications for the new unit were changed in October of 03' pushing the assembly back by four months. The town required the new truck to also double as a rescue unit after the expansion of the Ferry terminal within Hasvik was announced by the County transportation board. While not seeing much action in comparison to Engine 1 or Rescue 4, Engine 2 has successfully completed over 2800 calls within in 20 year life span thus far, reaching an average of 140 calls a year.

Unlike its other counter parts over at Station One (Engine 1, Car 3) Engine 2 is not slated for immediate replacement
