The wings are his phoenix spirit, manifest to look like angel wings. He is like an angel to her and she is deep within his heart.
He protects her. heals her and helps her. He takes her to beautiful heavenly places in dreams and real life, training her and giving her therapy through dreams magic/work which helps her trauma heal on deep soul and subconscious levels, and he takes her on a plethora of adventures while teaching her. He helps her create heaven on earth and within her own heart, even giving her her faery-kissed blood and power which helps her transform into a gorgeous unicorn shepherd to fight back the same darkness and gloom that had her once, for others sake now.

Everyday she grows in courage and creativity, learning how to pursue her dreams and live in her internal world externally-- like a phoenix passionately and always rising back up.
