Description
This species is a cave dwelling predator from a planet with a lower gravity than Earth's. With a centaur like shape and large powerful claws this creature is strangely familiar if you stop and think about it. This is a very large predatory land crab(Figuratively Speaking). The caves of this creatures home world are a large expansive labyrinth with many large chasms and openings for fresh air and even light to enter in, allowing for a plethora of plant life to grow. As any good biologist could tell you " Where there are plants, there are herbivores, and where there are herbivores, there are carnivores." This beast tends to hunt with an ambush tactic not dissimilar to scorpions. They often will lie in wait behind some rocks or craggy formation and strike when prey stumbles before them.

The breeding habits of this specimen are largely unknown. It is often observed that males and females both tend to be very aggressive toward others of their same gender and will fight very often. Sometimes these fights even lead to death for one or both fighters. For the first half of the year this fighting nearly always seems to go in one direction (further into the cave). Then for the other half of the year it turns around and it seems they are trying to fight their way out of the cave. Through this cycle their population never seems to decrease by a significant margin despite the high death rates. This would seem to suggest that more are coming out of the caves than those that are going in.
