Description
This is the Metroid version of Eris. I wish I could get this one printed too, but alas, she belongs to Nintendo.Her robot suit is supposed to be translucent in areas so you can see her through it....
The suit was drawn in Macromedia Fireworks, and everything else was painted freehand in Photoshop with a wacom tablet.

Beautiful and stunning! I've always wondered how Samus can fit into that cumbersome armor.
On a side note, I like the fusion suit better for such reason, it looks lighter and easier to move in.

I was asked to make some video game-related artwork for a print service, so I made Eris ( [link] ), and then made a second "Samus" version. (I wish I could print Samus too, cuz it's big enough to be a poster, but that's not very legal.

something about the way her hair tumbles down over her shoulder makes this really real for me, it gives it this normal quality, that stops it from being too imaginary. Ya know how everything is absolutely perfect in movies? well this is so beautifully done, its perfect in its bid to me imperfect

Okay, after staring at it for minutes I can tell you what I like/love about it
I think it's very dynamic and detailed at the same time, no plain Samus-shoots-enemy-picture. It shows the Varia's physics as well as Samus' inside it...I needn't tell you that her proportions and the shading/colors are perfect.
A Metroid lover's choice. Absolutely. Fav.
