Awesome shot. Love the up close detail and the huge blurred background behind this tiny object. A perfect photograph.

I love your observation skills. To be able to find the smallest detail in such a large environment filled with distractions really is amazing. Between the title and the lone snail surrounded by thorns you've created a photo that really does speak to me... It really does amaze me how one minor detail - something so small, could add so much to the photo. It may be breaking "the rules" by centring your composition around what would be accepted as the main subject of the photo, but I think youβve just proved that throwing the rulebook out the window really does work in photographyβ¦

interesting branches! now... was it the snail that bites or the trees???
all those spiky branches reminds me of really sharp thorns
nice shot!

I love this... very original...
you shouldn've said anything about the snail not being the focus, maybe instead leave it as an exercise for the viewer...
love the contrast and colours, +fav

What I first noticed and liked is the contrast between the sharp spikes and the softness of the overall photo....very nice quality.

I love this photo... It looks unreal, but there's just one thing that bothers me about it... just one little thing. The thorn that isn't in focus at the center of this picture.. Nothing big, but it just irks me... Don't mind me, I usually notice little things like that. Awesome work here.

If it was just the tree it was a very good shot! but because of the snail this has become an excellent and very unique and original shot!!! Protected by the tree it sits there! It's just a very beautifull story telling shot!! this is going to my favo's aswell!!!

nice narrow DOF and lack of color, snail kinda jumps out at ya.
only critique is maybe a lower angle work have worked better so the white and black of the horizon in the background are out of the frame leaving on the a gradient from the clouds...

That is a such an amazing shot. The quality is amazing, so the details came out so perfectly. The tree's shape is intriguing, and the snail is a nice touch, lol. Good call with the sepia tones too.
