Description
Rocket and Sox are running through a lake with a rag-clothed creature on Sox's shoulder. He asks him why he is running so hard, when the Rag Creature claims that Pibby is in trouble, and they quicken their pace. Sox asks the creature how he knows Pibby as they enter the cave where her house is situated, and he claims to be her "spirit animal."

When they eventually get to Pibby's house, they find her unconscious on the ground. The Rag Creature tells them that Pibby accidentally placed a sleep spell on herself and they must find her Memory Core or else she will fall into a coma forever. The creature claims that he cannot help her himself because he's a rag creature, and going inside someone's memory can be dangerous. Then, he uses his foot to touch Rocket's forehead, and tells him that his forehead will glow as he gets closer to the memory core. The Rag Creature then gives them a satchel full of Sleep Powder and tells them to use it on themselves, which they do, and fall asleep almost at once, but not before being warned about the consequences of their failure.

When the boys supposedly wake up right back where they started, they find themselves in a memory of Pibby as a child in a ruinous city, repairing her teddy bear, Bearamy. She points them to the cellar door on a house, claiming that it might lead to the memory core, as the two phrases sound similar. The duo go through the cellar door which leads to a brief memory of Pibby at her house, picking her nose and wiping it on the couch. Traveling further, the boys then find themselves in another memory where Libby is eating her pizza and Rocket whispers to her warningly, "Yo, gal.. Don't eat those," knowing of Pibby's "pizza breakdown" in the future, leading to the "Pizza Song."

The boys soon find a memory where Pibby and her friend, Bun Bun, are moving into the Rocket Room, and he conjures a rose with a happy face that says sweetly, "Pib... I wuv... I wuv!" She greatly appreciates this gesture and kisses her friend on the cheek, and he blushes deeply. Confused, the boys wander into a memory where Bun Bun reveals he sold Pibby's beloved teddy bear Bearamy to a sky sorceress named Magica for a new cherry blossom wand, then insults her by conjuring a ghost from the wand that sings, "You're not a genius, you're not a genius..."

Pibby is furious at Bun Bun for selling her most cherished possession. She is obviously furious for her cheeks are shown as slightly pink and has tears in her eyes. "You're a psycho jerk and you ruin my life!" Bun Bun pleads with her, but she screams, "It's over, you psycho!" After this, the boys slip through a glowing crack in the floor; after playing "hot-cold" with Rocket's glowing forehead, they finally find the orb of the spell.

The two wake up to find that Rag Creature actually does have arms, and takes the physical manifestation of Pibby's memory encased in a bubble from them before they awaken fully. His job done, the Rag Creature wakes Pibby up with an awakening spell (Which may mean that he lied about Pibby accidentally putting herself to sleep). She appears fine, and when the boys tell them about what happened to her, indicating that their creature friend helped out, she states that the creature is not her friend, but her ex-friend Bun Bun, having no memory of their breakup whatsoever. When Pibby leaves the room, Bun Bun then reveals his plan: He used the boys to find the memory core, so he could destroy the memory of his and Pibby's break up, not the memory of a sleep spell (He was the one who put her to sleep). Upon destroying the memory, he then takes Pibby back to his house.

The boys follow them to his house where Sox provides a distraction by banging a shovel against a shed, but the shed is actually a Tiny Mouse's house. He immediately panics, mistaking Sox for a cat. He realizes his mistake and tries to calm the Tiny Mouse, but he keeps screaming for help, attracting the attention of Bun Bun, who thinks sees Sox near the Tiny Mouse and chases him, being on the warpath against him while trying to protect the little neighbor. Having effectively drawn him away from the house, Rocket breaks in via the chimney and finds Pibby inside, who warns him to leave, as Bun Bun does not like her hanging out with "mere mortals." Rocket agrees to leave, but first shows Pibby some of the sleep powder still in his possession, and blows it into her face, sending her into Rocket's memory. Looking through a crack in an open door, she witnesses a chubby baby Rocket singing a song to himself in Jake and Sadie's house. Current Rocket finds her and reveals his own memory of viewing Pibby's break up memory to her.

Disheartened at her remembrance, they wake up and go outside, just as Bun Bun emerges from the nearby woods. He tells her not to be with Rocket and orders her into the kitchen to make him a turkey sandwich with tomatoes and pickles, only to be kicked in the tail and several times in the head by her, jumped on by Rocket and crushed underneath Sox's giant foot. Pibby finally tells Bun Bun to forever leave her alone after her break up and never ever find ways to bring her back. Shocked by this, Bun Bun leaves in defeat as Pibby thanks Rocket from saving herself from her ex and her memory.
