Rainbow Sparkle and Rocket are running to a castle in the Tomorrow Sector after Leo senses something wrong with it. Rocket checks it out and says that this castle is inactive. Rainbow Sparkle waits outside the castle and hears a strange noise. Suddenly, Rocket and Leo hear her scream as she has been kidnapped by Hacker and placed inside a Guardian. Leo, seeing that Rainbow Sparkle is not on-screen at the Factory Interface, promptly tells Rocket to stay in the castle so he can scan for things. However, Nikki is seen suddenly emerging from one of the scanners and faints. At school, they take her to the infirmary.

When Nikki (who is actually a clone of Hacker due to her red eyes than the usual green eyes) awakens and Nurse Joy tells her to lay down and get some rest, she throws the helpless nurse out of the way. In an unusually bad mood, Nikki converses with her friends and even suggests that Monika should go out with Moxy much to everyones shock. She is then beckoned by Celestia, who wants to know why she has attacked Nurse Joy. Concerned the principal asks her if she's having family problems but she doesn't respond. She threatens to call her parents but angered Nikki, showing the red eyes, knocks the principal unconscious with the phone and goes to Leo's dorm to see if she can convince him to get her to the scanner room. Swiper tries to act friendly with her by saying hi to her, but Nikki ignores him, much to his confusion.

Meanwhile, Rocket decides to do some searching outside and discovers a Guardian on top of Space Mountain behind a castle. It is being guarded by slugs and he is unable to see its contents, however, and he is nearly killed. After running back to the castle quickly, he tells Leo about the situation.

Back at the school, after Leo stops talking to Rocket, Nikki decides she wants to go to the Scanner Room, so she tries to seduce Leo to convince him to arrange a mission, who is really confused and scared by her behavior. She fails, but Calina and Monika stumble upon the scene, and when Monika sees Nikki trying to hug Leo, she is outraged and heartbroken and Leo tries to explain while Calina congratulates sarcastically on Nikki's behavior while she chuckles evilly to herself after everyone leaves. Leo apologizes for the incident, citing Nikki's strange behavior and he tells them they should go to the Factory to help Rocket.

When they head back to his room, they find his computer destroyed. Nikki seems the likely culprit. She shows up to meet them, still wanting to go to Disney World. Having no choice, they go.

At the Factory, Monika and Calina go to Disney World, but Nikki pushes her scanner door open and tries to disconnect the scanners from the Supercomputer by pulling their plugs. Leo notices and goes to the Scanner Room to see what the problem is.

On Disney World, Rocket tells Calina and Monika that they have to save Rainbow Sparkle - the real Nikki trapped in the Guardian as the Nikki on Earth is a clone created by Hacker. Rocket tries to warn Leo but he has already went down to the Scanner Room. In the scanner room, he sees Nikki pulling the plugs from the scanners and is shocked. She pretends to look like she's not feeling good and when he approaches her, she knocks him out and continues trying to disconnect the scanners, after laughing evilly.

In Disney World, Rocket figures out a way to defeat the Guardian. He creates a clone of Rainbow Sparkle via her Creativity to make it believe it has the wrong prisoner. The Guardian gets confused and tries to absorb the clone Rainbow Sparkle too, but this is beyond its ability and it explodes in a brilliant flash, releasing her.

Rainbow Sparkle volunteers to return to the Factory, but Monika points out that without Leo, they can't be devirtualized. Nikki tells her "You're armed, aren't you?", meaning she still has her scepter that she can use to hit her to devirtualized her.

The real Nikki emerges from the scanner. She and Clone Nikki begin to fight each other.

Leo wakes up, but the hatch leading to the Supercomputer Room was torn off by Clone Nikki. Leo pushes the clone into the hole. However, she grabs him and tries to throw him in. Rocket deactivates the castle, killing Clone Nikki and making her vanish. Then, a return to the past envelops everything, saving Leo from certain death.

Back in the past, Rocket points out that if Hacker was able to sent another clone to the real world, it proves that Nikki's materialization is possible and the real Nikki pretends to seduce Leo again as a joke, but an annoyed Monika stops her.
