Description
It begins with the Rainbow 6 arriving at the local Space Theaters, like usual. As they were about to finish the order of the film they want to watch, an intergalactic portal suddenly opens nearby and a pilot who flies on the Millennium Falcon from another galaxy comes out. The pilot says that his name is Han Solo and warns them of grave danger. At first Rainbow Sparkle doesn't seem to care, but once Han Solo said that the future of Equestria is also at stake, it convinced her and the girls. They then went after him and proceeded through the portal to a different galaxy.

Our heroes gets separated from Han Solo as they emerges few star systems away, and goes right into the barrel of a gargantuan device made by evil creatures. Immediately flying out of the way, the Rainbow 6 watches as the machine fires a humongous water balloon at a battle station, which has the slime splat on its surface, which is then cooked by the nearby star's heat and blows up the station into smithereens. Queen Twilight, who is with the Rainbow 6, then realises that our heroes has stumbled across some kind of testing site for the darkness' "latest contraption of doom". The machine then flees, and our heroes gets attacked by a horde of dark evils that were at this site, which they easily subdues them.

The Rainbow 6 then stops at a nearby star system as Han Solo reunites with them, and explains that he emerged a couple of star systems away, explaining why they were separated from him. Han Solo then explains that the machine known as the Vitelline Molecular Propulsor (or The Slime Cannon) is on its way to the Solar System, where it will fire a huge slime water balloon at Earth and Equestria, let the sun's heat cook the slime, and cause the complete destruction of the planet.

The Rainbow 6 team up with Han Solo and proceed through the galaxy to stop the Slime Cannon. After a fight with a mysterious Giant Robotic Space Alien, The Rainbow 6 and Han Solo then split up and take 2 separate routes that the Slime Cannon could have taken to reach the center of the galaxy, where it will use the supermassive black hole present there to get to the Milky Way faster. Rainbow Sparkle and the girls meets the Slime Cannon on their route, but it manages to flee and leaves the Mother Ship to take care of them. After destroying the Mother Ship, the Heroes finds Han Solo, and tells him what happened. He then tells them to head to the galactic core to stop the Slime Cannon, and leaves him to protect his own galaxy.

The Rainbow 6 then continues their journey as Queen Twilight companies them as they makes it to the galactic center. Instead of the Slime Cannon, they finds a Planetary Dark City made by the Dark Dragons, and quickly destroys it. Han Solo arrives shortly afterwards, and says that the Slime Cannon must have already jumped through the black hole in the center of the galactic core, and that the Rainbow 6 must go through it too to catch up to it. Everyone has agreed on this, but Rainbow Sparkle, at first, doesn't want to do this, but after being convinced by Han Solo and the rest of the Rainbow 6, she reluctantly agrees since she has no other choice. They then arrives at a mysterious galaxy, which they must escape from to proceed with their mission.

The heroes flies through another portal, arriving at a star system that is about to explode and go supernova. Twilight explains that there is a chance of getting out of this by flying towards the explosion and through the black hole that's forming in the center of the explosion. Shaking in fear, Rainbow Sparkle first says that they would rather want to fly away from the explosion instead of towards it, but after twilight explains that the shockwave would catch up to them anyways and destroy them, they agrees because there is no other option, and flies through the black hole. They returns to the Foreign Galaxy where the Slime Cannon was recently, and realizes that they are going in circles. They are then confronted by a group of evil creatures that appear from a nearby planet and the Space Alien once again.

After defeating the Space Alien yet again, the heroes flies through another portal and arrives at the Space Theaters Corporation's home galaxy. Twilight realizes that the Space Theaters Corporation should supply its stores through a complex network of portals that lead to multiple galaxies. The Rainbow 6 follows a supply droid and after a fight with the Film Maker eventually finds a portal to home, but not before wreaking havoc in the headquarters.

After arriving near the center of the Milky Way, our heroes makes it back to the Solar System and confronts the Slime Cannon just as it's approaching Earth. After a long battle and with the combination of the Crystals of Unity, The Rainbow 6 wins and returns to the local Space Theaters, to ordering their tickets to watch the next film: WALL-E. Twilight then tells the audience that we should leave our heroes to a well-deserved rest, content in the knowledge that our little home in the Milky Way is for now safe once again.?

There's also a Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving editions.
