Well, a little explanation. Me and ~GigiTheAngryLemon always imagine Sesshy and Inu to fight like this. All they do is flail their claws and/or swords out in front of them like crazy, while either growling or mumbling inaudibly.

aha! Sesshy can't kill Inu unless he's got to the bit where he gets that other sword... coz Tessaiga's brother is a sword that brings dead people back, right?

You're right, but the sword he is using there is Tokijin, his other sword, which is not related to the Tetsaiga or the Tensaiga. Sesshomaru had Tokijin made to be a destructive sword, so (hypothetically) he could kill pretty much anybody with that sword.
