EDIT: okay, so apparently devart version 7 has been causing this picture grief, so I reloaded it. Sorry if it shows up in your inboxes.
READ BY COLUMNS! (TOP TO BOTTOM)
This pic was inspired by =nillia . She did a picture called "Kagome is..." and is now hosting a project where anyone can submit different "Character is..." pics (right here [link] ). So, I chose Jaken, because Jaken doesn't get near the attention that he should.
That one frame about the remote controller, I based that off of the olden days when televisions didn't used to have remote controllers (I shudder at the thought). Anyways, all the old people would always make their little children get up and change the channel for them. Good thing those days are gone. *wipes brow*
Sorry for it being such a big pic.
Jaken belongs to Rumiko Takahashi, but this art is mine.

Are you referring to how I got Jaken on the preview page? (the one where Jaken insists that you look at the picture?) Or how I got my comic to have a preview page?

1.) Well, when I first made the picture, I colored Jaken on his own transparent layer, so he could be moved around as I pleased. So after I finished the whole comic, I shrunk it, changed the opacity, and put Jaken (which is on his tansparent layer) onto the background. teh end.
2.) To get a preview page for your pictures is simple. When you are loading the picture, there should be an option like "load a Preview Image" or something, then you just load that one with your piccy!

I'm quite sure that if Sesshoumaru-sama required Jaken to change the channels, Jaken would be happy to do it! But other than that, enjoyed seeing Jaken get his desserts.

I'm sure Jaken would enjoy it, tho' I can't imagine anyone loving it for too long. There are a few things Sesshy does that Jaken doesn't agree with (as few as they are).

Great pic and I do agree that Jaken does not get enough attention or fans for that matter than he should. Myoga the flea probally has quite a bit of fans and gets quite a bit of attention and at times he seems he doesn't even deserve. I love the pic and how you describe Jaken's character.

That is to say, Jaken WOULD follow Sesshoumaru in death if he ever died... but we all know that will never happen.

Yes. Never. But it makes you think, knowing Sesshy is still alive today, (speaking in a cartoons-are-real-life sense), what does Sesshy do today? Does he work? Or does he still just roam around sneer at petty people? For that matter, does he wear the same outfit, or his he up to date? (I've obviously thought about this before.

*ponders the hypothetical situation as well* In my most humble opinion, I believe that Sesshoumaru would most definitely be in some position of power and wealth. He's so arrogant, he'll want some form of pastime or position where he is able to order peons around and gain more respect. Instead of killing everyone to expand his territory, he'll just invent ways to buy it out from competitors. It's much more challenging for someone of his power level than simply... disposing of his oposition. 
And the fact that we actually think about this brands us as hopeless fangirls for all eternity.

Ah yes. Truly hopeless.
But on that note, (as much as I agree with your deductions,) in Sesshy's high-standing position of power, people will begin to wonder why he never ages. Which raises another hopeless fangirly question: would people know him to be a demon or just another human? In Japan, I daresay they don't think that demons are ruling the major corporations (or that they even exist, for that matter).
In the case that nobody knows he's a demon, would he cover the stripes or moon on his face (with makeup!)? Or make excuses and say they are tattoos? Both seem unlikely to Sesshomaru's character. And what about his ears? *ponders* Pointy ears is not human-esque, I'm afraid. (Except for that one guy, but he doesn't count.)
However, I don't think he'd sink so low as to admit that he's a human. But perhaps no one would raise the question. (I know I wouldn't).
Either way, people would begin to wonder about him. Then next comes the interviews and rumors and startling magazine covers and scientists and babies and fruit cakes. (Well, maybe not babies.)
So, although I think your opinion is just as possible, I think it would be more probable that Sesshy would stay low and lead the quiet life. Maybe a nice secluded home in the mountains, elegant, but not gaudy. Maybe.... who's to say? (I like the idea of him holding a position of power better, tho'.)
But pa-haps I'm taking this further than need be taken..... *sighs*

I think he would be able to find ways around being discovered (heaven knows, the fangirls have developed several methods and plausabilities), and he would be able to easily run large corporations and give orders without actually ever being seen... so no worries about his few physical oddities. *shrugs* He's Sesshoumaru! He may do as he pleases.

I LOVE this!!!!! This was actually the first of the "Character is..." ones I found. And I must say, as good as the Kikyou and Naraku ones are, I like this one the best. And I love the last panel, too. 'Fangirl magnet', indeed. *raises hand* Fangirl. Guilty as charged. One of the few things I'll actually be a fangirl for. The other is InuYasha's ears. I'm obsessed.
And now I'm babbling. I also like the part of the last panel, 'Jaken - That little green guy who followed Sessh around.' Hanyou.EXE enjoyed it very much. *nods*
