I ask you, please don't leave me alone,There's no telling what might happen.
I'm lost and blind and I can't take this again.
Alone with myself, and I'm scared.
Scared and running, I'm deeper than before.
The light at the end of the tunnel was just a reflection,
I've been going the wrong way this whole time.
So I turn and run again, into the dark that's mine.
Nothing more to say, have you got nothing more to say to me?
Nothing more than "give it time, it'll be fine."
Forgive me for everything I've done, and I'll forget everything else you've said.
Nothing sounds sweeter than guilt laid to rest.
Scared and running, I've taken a wrong turn again.
Fooled by the glow of a burning promise.
How can I trust anyone's word after this?
So I'm running again in a different direction.
A false hope, sometimes all you've got, never brings comfort,
Faith in people is bound to leave you hurt.
So we all run into the darkness, and wait for light to catch up.
