This tome was created through a pact between an archlich and a devil lord, each seeking to expand their dominion over life and death.

Properties of the Lexicon of the Infernal Necromancer:
Hellfire Resurrection: The book grants the ability to raise the dead through hellfire, causing the risen undead to burn with an unholy flame that can scorch their foes.
Pact of the Damned: Once per month, the reader may enter a pact with a devil, summoning it to perform one task in exchange for a price set by the devil, according to the laws of infernal bargains.
Infernal Necromancy: Spells cast from the Lexicon that deal necrotic damage siphon life, restoring hit points to the caster equal to half the damage dealt to the target.

Curse of the Lexicon of the Infernal Necromancer:
Soulburn: The tome's hellfire scorches the soul of its user. They must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw after each use, or their hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the necrotic damage dealt by their next spell.
Whispers of the Archlich: The spirit of the archlich within the Lexicon seeks to corrupt the reader. Each time the book is opened, the reader must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or be compelled to perform an act of pure evil.
Mark of Infernal Necromancy: Using the tome leaves an invisible mark detectable by celestials, fiends, and undead. The marked individual may find themselves targeted by enemies seeking to either exploit or end their use of the Lexicon.
