That is what is so cool about my illustrations. I never put a static light source. So it's as if light and dark is hitting it from every angle. To do this effect, I'm constantly rotating the paper and drawing from a different angle. I've always been told because I don't follow the rules of values and shading, my illustrations always have a different look each time you glare at it. And that's what I want. I want the viewer to notice something new each time they look at it. Glad you enjoy it and thank you for kind words.

I need to study it more (it's late right now), but where is the light source coming from as far as the shading goes? Again, I'll have to look at more after work tomorrow. That's just something I've become aware of when drawing my dead trees, or whatever, is where is the light coming from and realistically, where are the shadows?
