what I won't draw:
- non-humanoid characters
- sonic characters
- robots/mechs
- gore
- nsfw (they're chibis, calm DOWN)
- discriminatory/hate art
- backgrounds
are there any upcharge fees?
- these apply for only the reason of complexity. the chibi commissions are meant to take up to an hour to complete, and I don't put a lot of detail in them at all. usually an outfit won't fall under the complex category, and a weapon might. the upcharge fees will only be $1-2/100-200
.
- if you need the commission done by a certain time, the priority charge is an extra $5/500
how can I commission for one?
- send me a note
on deviantart, or an email at divertspace at gmail dot com, complete with all character references and information. typically all I need are a few different angles, an age, and a personality, and I'm good to go.
- if you are paying in deviantart points
- I accept paypal for all other monetary transactions. I will need your paypal email to send you an invoice, which you will pay through. this protects both of us from any legal troubles and it's pretty straightforward if you've never used one before.
- once I have the entire payment upfront, I will begin working on the commission. I work in order of who pays first, not who contacts first, and will send you a sta.sh link to the finished version. chibis will be uploaded in batches on deviantart, and separately on tumblr.
FAQ
- do you accept different forms of legal tender, such as euros, pounds, pesos, etc? basically, as long as paypal allows you to send it as United States Dollars (USD), I'm down.
- do you give refunds? if I have not started, you will receive your full payment back. if I have started, I will not give a refund. at your request, I will cancel a commission, and can give you what I have done, but you will not receive your money back.
- can it be a private commission? let me know ASAP if this is the case! yes, I'm more than willing. even if you want to have it uploaded at a later date, like for a person's birthday, that's fine.
- am I allowed to repost the art? if YOU have commissioned for the art, you are welcome to repost the art, as long as credit is given. I don't mind it being used as an icon, ID, reference, etc. if it's not your character or not for you, then no.
- can you give me a version without your watermark? no.
- how many can I commission at a time? as many as you want! I'm a young adult with a part time job. I need money.
- are commissions with characters interacting allowed? up to two characters may interact, and it'll still be the same price as if they were separate.
