He got his cutiemark at his first concert when he talked his way backstage to meet the singer. He began to make a habit of smoozing his way up to famous ponies, from music stars to heroes to royalty. As a teen he started dyeing streaks into his mane and tail to make them look flashier and more important in photos. He started dating Melody because she was a student of Princess Twilight, and he wanted to make a connection with the princess. Melody broke up with him as soon as she found out, but he has not stopped trying to manipulate her back into dating him.
