This is really interesting, I like how you did the hatching along the arms and on the face. By hatching in the eyes all the way you've made them look a bit hallow; It kind of makes me think of the pokemon Mimikyu. It's cute, and a little uncanny which makes it unnerving but it takes a while to place exactly why which makes it not threatening in any way. It almost looks like you've put the taum in a corner. Very interesting!
