Character Sheet for Kuzimu, Zira's Father.Kuzimu is a fanmade character, he is by no means an actual Canon Character. He did not appear in any of the films, concept art, books, comics, written concept, nothing official.
Same with Azola, Zira's mother, and Kuzimu's Queen.
Kuzimu was a brutal abusive Father, King, and leader. Roughly about the size of Mufasa.
He did not like Zira, He wanted male cubs, so he abusively trained her to be a monster.

Oh wow. I love how you go into such detail with all of your reference sheets. All the profiling facial features, the colours, the history behind him. You sure put a lot of thought into these characters, it's almost like they're coming straight from Disney. Great job, mate! And if I ever find the need to draw him, I'm pretty much taking this as canon.

I love his design and I love the back stories you put with these characters. Most people would just be like, "Here's Zira's dad...just 'cuz" lol.
It's been driving me insane but I finally figured out who he reminds me of: Steele from Balto. Don't get me wrong, he is still very much his own character, but a few of those faces remind me of that insanity that Steele had near the end.

can you show me sometime how to do "realistic" animals like you do? I'm really lacking in that area horribly.

I dont really know how I'd show you unless we did a livestream or something where we can get the questions and answerings done right away. whilst interacting with an image.

I'm looking to learn the structure.

hmm. my tips to that is to try and draw more full, realistic ish features/limbs on the animals.
try drawing skulls and skeletal structures, not fully spot on detailed. then sketch out the muscle shapes. i love to see movement in the spine, so drawing how far they can flex, without losing the anatomy, is good practice. then try drawing the animal's as a whole realistically.
just try to shed off the overly cartoony quality, as awesome as that style can be xD
