Imo, I think the older version of the way you drew Simba looked much nicer. I found that the thin, angular lines complimented him very well. The way you made the lines smoother and cleaner in this picture made him look more like the TLK2 version, which I didn't find extremely accurate for Simba's design. While the lighting and background is ten times better then the old version, I like the way you drew Simba back in '09, because the drawing actually seemed like you gave Simba more Mufasa-like characteristics such as the broad, thick shoulders and proud stance. But that's just me
I'm not saying the picture is bad in any way, but that's just how I felt when I compared the two. Both are good pictures, but I'm finding that if combined it would be even better

Whoa, DJ you've really improved! I didn't think you could get better than the last time, but damn I was wrong. He is overall skinner, which makes him appear more like himself in the end of TLK ^^ Wonderful job DJ! I love the shading and mood of this picture
