Dude, I feel so sorry for you. One of my best buds is a MASSIVE fan of MLP (and spams me weekly with new episodes XDD) and I think it's a pretty awesome show myself (shame I don't get much time to watch it, as I watch TFP XD)
I just don't understand why Transfans (or fans of anything for that matter) can't just stick to the guidelines. Sure, if a yaoi pairing was CANON, I'd accept it, no prob. But only if it was CANON, if it was PROBABLE, and if the writers KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING and not just "fanservicing". And that goes for EVERY TV show/anime/manga/etc.
