Description

Decided to make a PotP styles combine for a Beast Wars era Soundwave, the included members would be:

Hun-gurr -> Soundwave : The combined mode transformation actually determined this. I wanted the torso to shift from Soundwave's blue to Soundblaster's black. Abominus' chest panels ended up working perfectly as they aren't front-facing on the robot OR beast modes. A few small and simple rescults to the two heads was all I needed.

Swoop->Laserbeak : A custom people liked enough to make me do the rest of the set. Turned a Swoop into laserbeak according to his G1 colors and not BW colors. The feet turning into the boosterpack worked out amazingly well.

Swoop->Buzzsaw : An obvious choice if I was including every main cassette, because it let me give some upper torso symmetry. with black shoulders&forearms, but silver biceps. To keep it distinct from Laserbeak, I left the mouth intact and added buzzsaws to the wings a buzzsaw weapon to boot. While I left the mouth intact, I intentional scuffed and scratched at it to make it seem more leatherface-esque.

Rippersnapper->TM2 Ravage : Going off the comic(and toy) design of a Transmetal2 Ravage after being resurrected let me better color diversity to him.

Swoop->Ratbat : Three of the same limb on a single combiner feels like cheating, but oh well. Flipped the transformation around a bit, leading to Ratbat's beast mode folding the robot legs as the stomach instead, and the robot mode getting a sweet pink shoulder cloak from the bat wings. Custom built guns out of scrap parts. Ratbat was chosen as a limb to complete the gold accents started with TM2 Ravage. Or was it the way other around? I forget.

Scoop Minicons -> Rumble&Frenzy : A pair of targetmasters from Legends Scoop were a perfect excuse to throw the last two iconic cassettes into the team and let me have both a held cannon AND a shoulder cannon.

Titanmasters->Overkill & Beatbox : This is getting excessive. These two were made specifically to fill the gaps in the combined mode feet. The faces were sanded off so I don't even know who they were originally. Both manage relatively convincing "beast modes" somehow.

All combined together to form the might SOUNDBLASTER.
