My mother is actually a Christian minister who taught us the value of other faiths, I have studied middle east politics in College (and some of the Quran and the history of Islam in that process) I think Islam is a great and buitiful religion but, like with Christanity, I think there are those who manipulate it for their own ends.
The more I watch CNN the more depresed I get every day. Your photo reminds me that Islam is more about faith and submission to a higher power than it is about war and politics.
