My god... That is beautiful. You are an excellent photographer! You must do macro a lot right? I am new to it, and I am about to get some macro filters for my Canon rebel xti. Any tips for beginners? How do you get so close without it fleeing?

FYI "Outdoor Photographer April 2011" has a great article on macro photography. Now not trying to be rude, but there's no filter specifically for macro's. Lens are the key. Although I've gotten pretty good macro's out of a point and shoot camera and a proper crop. So the true key is to learn your focal point for your settings, bracket shoot and play with your settings. Please don't use that rebel as a point and shoot. Another great magazine I like is Popular Photography. Good luck and shoot everything more than once on more than one setting.
