Description Those who've seen the Hotel Transylvania movies know the whole story; After the birth of his daughter Mavis, Count Dracula keeps her hidden away from the outside world out of fear that she would suffer the same fate as his late wife (murder at the hands of an angry human mob), while running a successful hotel business at the same time. That is until centuries later, on the eve of Mavis's 118th birthday, a backpacking young human tourist named Johnny stumbles upon the hotel by accident. From there, it's love at first "zing" between the two teens, and Drac throughout the story learns to let go of the past and realize his little girl has grown up.

However...what if Johnny wasn't the first human Mavis met? What if there was another one she interacted with, despite Drac's disapproval?

This is basically a what-if story I came up with couple years ago after watching HT for the first time. Set in 1898 (the year the hotel first opened), it tells an untold part of Mavis's childhood where she meets and befriends a young boy named Simon. Turns out, however, Simon is actually the son of famed monster hunter (and her dad's bitter rival) Abraham Van Helsing, who brought him over to Romania to train him to be the next generation of hunter. From there, the two decide to try and settle their fathers' petty feud and help them see that humans and monsters are no different from one another.

In this scene, the two get the idea of bringing Drac and Mavis back to London for an evening feast at the Van Helsing mansion in an attempt to get them to socialize better. However, as you can see, things are not going according to plan. 😓

Inspired by the dinner scene from Shrek 2.

The only thing missing is Beowulf as his movie version... and Grendel being actually being a monstruous demonspawn from Hell. Sometimes monsters are nice, but others they deserve their apellations for a damn good reason!
