In "The Gauntlet" Gwen questions J.T., why he's so mean with Cash. In first grade him and Ben were good friends, they even ate paste together, J.T. was nice until he started hanging with Cash. J.T. says that Cash isn't that bad, since he makes Cash laugh and looks out for him. Gwen tells him that they act like total jerks, but J.T. says Cash is just Cash. Gwen then says Cash seems to have a lot of influence of you, with J.T. telling her that he would rather see Cash beat up others instead of him, which Gwen thinks is a "great" friendship.
