"Knowing the Enemy" NA P-51D Mustang, Kampfgeschwader 200 Nazi secret missions with captured allied aircraft.The Luftwaffe operated a number of P-51D Mustangs for training. 2.Staffel of the Versuchsverband Oberbefehlshaber del Luftwaffe toured fighter bases instructing German fighter pilots in the fine points of combating the Mustangs.
A number of these Mustangs were repatriated in May of 1945 by American GI's.
