After the break-up I can't help bur feel Jackie mourns her lost-love, maybe her first one--she's only 14 or 15. She turns off men suddenly and finds solace in the "companionship" of another girl.

Sucks that their relationship ended, but I think Jackie made the right choice. Marco's mind was always going back to Mewni, whether he wanted it to or not, he felt important there, which is why he wore the cape all the time. If Marco stayed on Earth, then I think their relationship might have turned sour. Marco would always be wondering what would of happened if he decided to leave for Mewni instead of staying. Jackie on the other hand would be really upset that Marco's attention would always be on Mewni and to a certain extent, Star. Luckily Jackie understood that if Marco was forcing himself to stay in Echo Creek to make her happy, then soon neither of them would be. She didn't give him an ultimatum and she didn't even give a negative reaction to Marco's lie of her being his best friend. She acted the best way a person could in this situation and gave Marco his out, letting there at least be some sort of chance of them having a friendship after this.

I never disliked Jackie, I actually felt a bit pained at her maturity. Love this though! Very emotional.

God dammit this hurt me on a personal level. Like I had a breakup like this once --I did one teeny tiny thing I had a hunch would cause me trouble, but ignoring that hunch caused me to be pulled to the side by her; ya know, she didn't express anger --not even any passive aggressiveness or sarcasm, she just said "let's talk." I already knew I made an irreversible mistake and I was kicking myself for ignoring my hunch.
In regards to characters and shipping, I DO tend to lean towards Marco with Star, but that does not mean I wanted to see Marco and Jackie split! Like I somewhat relate to Marco, so I'm always putting myself in his shoes. As cute as Star is, Jackie was Marco's initial interest and put a lot of time and effort into getting the courage to talk to her. It's a hell of a big step to tell someone how you feel in person. And face it, Jackie was as cool as Star is cute; Jackie was like the epitome of chill. She was written in such a way that she wasn't a generic "cool girl on campus/at school," she was fleshed out as a cool person --no matter where or when, Jackie would stay cool. Watching her and Marco kiss halfway through last season just gave me the warm fuzzies. But things got awkward when Marco was made aware of Star's feelings. THAT'S where ties started to get strained from Marco's side.
Fast forward to season 3 after the Toffee fiasco. Marco apparently spent a little more time than expected in Mewni so much so that summer is practically over and he totally neglected to spend time with Jackie. Then he got a little too arrogant with his newly-gifted cape that upset the ones closest to him AND severed things between him and Jackie. And my god, when he showed up at her doorstep to rekindle things with her, I was like, "he's totally wearing the cape under his hoodie." Of course I was just joking to myself/hoping I was wrong. But when they got all cuddly at the pier and Jackie asked Marco to remove his hoodie (I'm aware she said "take off your shirt"), I shouted, "NO. NO, MARCO, NO! YOU REALLY DID PUT THAT FUCKING THING UNDER YOUR DAMN HOODIE?! It's over! Ya done fucked up, Marco." When she asked him to sit down and talk the way she did, I started getting some PTSD flashbacks. When you're in love with someone as cool as Jackie (and I kinda do have my personal real-life version of Jackie) and lose them because you're too anal retentive or other habit, it stings to the core, especially if it was something so easily avoidable like not wearing a damn cape.
Jackie stayed true to her character from the beginning all the way to now: cool and chill, even during that breakup. I honestly feel like even she didn't want this to happen; she probably had stronger feelings put into their relationship than Marco was. She might have kept calm, cool, and collected through that whole ordeal, but she could've broken out in tears after she faded into the distance.
Now Marco is back on Mewni aaaaaaand Tom made him a cuck .-.
