Description grrrrrrrr...

I've always wanted to show Cadance foalsitting and doing the phone call cliche. Initially, I wanted to pull off a Calvin and Hobbes-type sneaky-sneak deal, but I changed it up a bit and included less of that.

I love the way she explodes into the frame, like she intends to flying tackle Cadence.

I can't see Twilight doing Calvin style antics... but I can totally see her wanting to talk to Shiny.

Hehehehehe, Cadance doing the phone cliche is an awesome and hilarious concept. I'm glad someone did it.

Do I detect some adult innuendo?

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

UltimateLazerbot [2015-03-03 05:56:27 +0000 UTC]

curious if this (adult in most cases) craze will ever end, how people love and almost obsess over it. i guess like most other simplistic cartoons draw in people with some code of fascination people can't completely decode why its as addicting to them as it is but it proceeds to go beyond expectations and over shine those things with more depth for its way of being what it is. another shade of color then the addictiveness spongebob has.

Regardless of how influential or dimwitted the content is. its gets to people in a whole new degree. from ages of who knows how young to all ages.

such style and likeness extents to more new generation shows such as adventure time and proceeds to many others.

why some might ask? if it came out in an earlier time frame it would of have little to no success, it really shows how times have changed and how adaptable the human mind has become to entertainment which is usually a good thing but can adapt and stretch to degrees that makes the human mind itself go blank to copy cat mode it just to follow its new paste of slowness.

how much it changes and staggers some of the population to a new found state, (perhaps good in ways and bad in others) to a state that some would wonder if there liking it for legit reasons or something lay in front of there eyes that is there to be seen by the subconscious mind to a degree.

sorry for the ramble.

Heh, postmodern art. Much art of today is indeed regurgitation of previous iterations of whatever. And of course not necessarily good ones:
But mileage varies, but who generally has that kind of time? Most people are looking for a quick gag using previously developed and well recognized characters instead of developing an original in-depth story with a unique style and characters. IMO, one hasn't quite reached that goal until others actually make fan-art of your own original creation. But here again, that takes a lot of time without a team of people behind you, even if you don't have a corporate telling you what you what they want.

Still good points though.

oh im aware of the gag factor of fanarts and so on and that wasn't exactly what my statement was aimed towards. like i actually enjoy many fanarts and little mini gags made by people. but most the time or at least half the time there obsession in the work some what makes sense.

well im coming off rude so before i continue on, the person who made this picture didn't do bad
however that wasn't my focus of my post.

True.

Hmm, doesn't really seem rude to me personally. Sorry if I missed or didn't address the intended purpose of your initial post. ^^ To answer your curiosity, I'm going to venture to say the craze won't end, at least not collectively. People come and go in and out of many "fandoms." With the Internet, it seems levels of interest rise and fall at a much more rapid pace than before. There's plenty of speculation as to why it has gained such a high magnitude of attention, but it truly boggles the mind.

It's like asking the question, "How did this image/video/etc. go viral?" There's plenty of speculation with only a few partial yet definite answers, (like a mention by someone with a multitude of followers). If someone asked, "What could I make that would go viral?" no real answer would be forthcoming, because of the stuff that goes viral and the stuff that doesn't, it truly goes beyond comprehension IMO. Like Mystery Skulls Animated Ghost, over 1 million views in less than a month? But it did reference something familiar, otherwise it's well possible they could've spent twice as much time on it to achieve little attention.

exactly, you get my point and i like your explanation. i guess i just think my little pony, adventure time and many others are getting more love then it deserves. and many other things. i guess its the human race in this generation. cuz have something like those 10 years ago or so and they would of been one of those weird shows to air and then get canceled.

well over all it does make me wonder how something so plain or dimwitted in a non humorous manner could reach get so many likes but then its also just like oh well nothing can be done about the human race.

This generation? One word: Disco.

Different strokes for different folks. I guess another thing to consider about older works compared to our later generation was their purpose, namely to preserve a likeness in as much clarity as the family or individual could afford. Because people like certain things, even for a short time, they'll reproduce or have others reproduce what they like, others will see it, and the process continues as others join the crowd. Pop culture, economics, lather, rinse, and repeat. Without the Internet, pop cultures would be fairly limited and localized. That said, let's hope we don't get a viral video called "What Did the Fox Say on Friday?"

UltimateLazerbot In reply to adamlhumphreys [2015-03-04 04:51:48 +0000 UTC]

i think pop culture a good amount of time is crap. not to be rude, miley and so many other things, it makes me wonder if they aren't just a twisted system but then they publish some good works to.

You two do realize that this is her brother that you're talking about?
Even if she did know about bj's, (Although, at this age, she doesn't, hopefully) I don't think she would fall to the point of committing incest when she's grownup.

You two were talking about 'musical intruments' in such a way that it was nigh impossible to NOT misunderstand your conversation... Unless it was all in play and you two were just successful in keeping those dirty minds of yours below the surface... Which I suspect is the case.
