Summer evening, natural light, spontaneous shot. Plus 2 stops of Exposure in Lightroom, cause it was ruined by Aperture priority metering. ISO 400 at 1/6400 — dumb, no excuse. But here it is

Use center-weighted metering so it would only meter her face and ignore the bright sky. It was probably too dark because you used average metering and it was trying to balance out the sky behind her.
