I think the thing that needs to be understood here is that he was playing off how you see a lot of people talk in MMORPG games. Just the same as any IM program, grammatic rules don't seem to apply.

But in multiplayer games they use leet language, and I think that is the one you're talking about. If he'd have used leet, he'd say:

Yeah, I don't play them either, but I have seen them played; basically it seems like you've got to be quick about saying something, especially if you're in the middle of some battle, etc.
And yes, agreed. Though technically he was just stating his opinion. I think he just started to get frustrated when you seemed to be taking his misspelling of the band as an accident. Some people just don't have the patience. I guess it's a good thing I came along... haha
