Description This is a miniature set of Pokemon cards based off the mane characters in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

Rainbow Dash is the only pony with her own canon special moves. I'm not the first to use the Sonic Rainboom, but I have never seen any other card use any of her other techniques.

The wording may be off on a few cards since I'm not too much in the loop in the Pokemon world (and also why I used HGSS blanks).

I didn't do any of the art or backgrounds. All copyrights and trademarks found are owned by their respective copyright and trademark holders. No infringement of copyright is intended.

There aren't any official Flying-type Pokemon cards.

Thanks for commenting.

What exactly do you mean with "each type of basic Energy"? There are special energy cards which provide rainbow energy and stuff. But there are also special energy cards which still provide basic energy. What about the special energy card which provides two colorless energy? Does this count as two special energies or two basic energies? Because it can't count as one special energy because you didn't mention the word "card" in your description.

There's a difference between "Energy" and "basic Energy."

"Energy" is what is required to power up your attacks. You can provide Energy with either basic Energy cards or Special Energy cards.

Basic Energy cards are the cards that you can have an unlimited amount of in your deck. Special Energy cards are not basic Energy and are limited to four per deck. Both provide Energy for attacks.

"Each type of basic Energy" refers to each individual type of basic Energy attached to her. So if you have Fire, Fire, Fire attached to her, Sonic Rainboom only does 60 damage (50 damage + (10 x 1 type of basic Energy)). If you have Fire, Fire, Water, Rainbow attached, the attack does 70 damage (50 damage + (10 x 2 types of basic Energy)).

Rainbow Energy is not a basic Energy card, so it's not counted in Sonic Rainboom's damage calculation, and though you have 3 basic Energy cards attached, there are only two different types (Fire and Water), so you only get an additional 20 damage.

she should be like zapdos! electric/flying

> implying Rainbow Dash would be Electric-type

Keep in mind that I arbitrarily decided on RD's Lightning type. If I had to really assign her a type, it would probably be Normal/Flying. Her card would be Colorless, if anything.

Jesus... the energy cost of being OP is more reasonable here than on Celestia's single colorless "I'ma heal everything" ability, but damn. Dash ends the game, since you've probably spent 3 turns powering her up on the bench, anyway.

Spitfire revenges her pretty handily, and you don't even have to use any Energy to do so.

Wow, I have to say this is probably the best Pokemon card with attacks that actually make sense! Very well done!

Thanks. I think it's pretty neat that she has her own moves, makes making these loads easier.

Rainboom should do less damage seeing as it takes three energies to use sonic rainboom, which would be 80 damage overall. I'd say about 20 seeing as her Pokepower.

No, it's each type of energy. So if she's got three electric energies, it's 60 damage. And if she just has three special energies (unlikely), it's just 50. If she happens to have one of each of the eight basic energies, it's 130 damage. But that's unlikely because rainbow decks are pretty rare (then again, this does look like one).

as well as the fact that barely anyone runs status effect type of attacks but yes the damage is potentially 110 and more if you keep attaching basic energies so 160 if status problem
