Lady Veil
Where evil lurks, misery and suffering follows and so does Lady Veil. Owner of the Hatsville funeral home/mortuary, she gets a lot of business, being near one of the biggest doom-bringers there could be. Though she doesn’t do what she does for fortune or fame, but rather for the feel of it. The lady is veiled in mystery, literally.

Facts:
She and Blackhat know eachother very well. Though BH wouldn’t call it as something well.

Though not much is known about Lady Veil, many see her as a rather polite and modest person. She’s had many good reviews of the funerals being “respectful” and “in good taste”. Overall people have found her pleasant to work with. She’s hosted for heroes, villains and more. Despite her mysterious aura, no one can really say anything bad about her…except BH.

No one’s also seen her without her veil on, except BH. He tells people there’s nothing to look for anyway. The only thing people can see is her eyes which many describe as “deep”. As well as her running mascara, she tends to get teary.

A small detail but on her hand, she has a wedding ring. But no one knows who she could be married to.

Headcanon VA. Lisa Hannigan (Blue Diamond, Steven Universe) or Esmé Augusta Bianco (Queen Eclipsa, Star Vs The Forces of Evil).

She believes to put on a good show/performance isn’t about being big and flashy but leaving the audience feeling. Even the smallest, simplest of things can have the biggest impact.

Enjoys the simpler things in life, rainy days, Black hat, strong feelings, cool and mellow colors and surroundings, dark blue, the dark, nigh-time, winter, wine, tea(especially earl grey), bitter tastes, light foods, reading with tea, dramas, psychological stories, antiques and other old fashioned things, gardening, opera and theatre, piano, music boxes and most of all, keeping things simple.

Dislikes things being complicated, using high-tech things, hot days, bright lights, loud sounds, Starbucks(too sweet), strong sweet flavours, stubbornness and apathy, disrespecting the dead, heavy foods, stories with all flash and no substance, people talking big and acting like they have no weakness or vulnerabilities and things just being more complicated than they need to be.

Inspired by the Latin folklore of La Llorona (the Weeping Woman) and other characters associated with emotions and psychology ( Blue Diamond, Donna Beneviento, Resident Evil etc).
